Dear Karen and family I was very shocked and saddened. To learn of Jeffs passing .over the years I have been in town I have come to know Jeff as a very polite and responsible young man who played a very import part in the police service community and special olympics .i will always have many fond moments we enjoyed to gether to remember him by. I remember the day he was made our honorary police constable it was one of his goals to be a police officer his eyes lite up and he glowed from ear to ear he did a great job for the police service . I always enjoyed when he would stop in at the office just to chat or quite often to offer some advise to me he will be greatly missed by all. I am honoured to have had the privilege of knowing him and I know I am a better person because of his. Although we saw him only a few times a year it was always one of our fondest memories when he was helping us toll or when he was the best person ever to have controlling the lights and siren in the cruiser in the annual Torch Run through the Falls.
