Dear folks: I am so, so sorry to hear Robby has passed. He was the biggest, best friend I could have asked for when I lived in Franktown. I regret in a big way that I we never kept in touch through the years. Very sad about his death. Kurt

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Robert's family and friends. I worked with Robert at Canadian Tire and have fond memories of a great man to work with. How sad to think how fast life can go down hill. I stopped working at Canadian Tire after my heart attack and had spoken to Robert in the lunch room many times. We always had good conversations.
I will remember his kind heartedness and somewhat humour too. My faith is strong and I know that I will meet Robert again one day. Till then God bless Robert

It is impossible to write all of my memories with Bob in a small space. From being a member of Campbell's Trucking Broomball team to chasing the whitetail deer in the Franktown area, where does one start. In our early years, it was broomball through the week and tournaments just about every Winter week-end. Then each Fall, our deer gang gathered to enjoy the bush and to chase that elusive buck. Opening mornings saw us head to our stands. Bob would always wait to daybreak and head back in on his ATV. You knew the ATV was Bob because everyone else was already in the bush. Then comes the Memories at Don and Cathy's hunt camp. Bob had his favourite chair in the corner. He will always be in the chair enjoying his evening glass of whisky. Rest in peace Bob. You will always be a part of us. You will still be there with us each hunt.

The world is a bit worse off with the loss of Robert.
Never have I worked along side a stronger man! The “human forklift” I would call him. Never let anyone down...always quietly there to lending a helping hand and a welcoming smile.
You will be missed my friend !!!!
