Colleen peacefully passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the age of 73.  Predeceased by her parents Collins and Laura Hewitt.  Her sweet smile and gentle disposition will be sadly missed by her sisters Joyce and Marian Hewitt.  Her nieces Laurie MacRae, Amanda (Jordan) Lazarski.  Her nephew Thomas Hewitt, great nephews Chris (Amber) Vincent, Ethan MacRae and her great niece Sarah (Justin) Rilley.

Colleen touched many hearts throughout her life and was loved by many.  Thank you to all the staff at Broadview Nursing Centre that treated Colleen like family in her last years.  Your care and devotion is truly appreciated.

Friends and family will gather for visitation to remember the good times at Lannin Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.  Service to follow in the Chapel. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Maple Vale Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations to the Broadview Nursing Centre "Activity Fund" would be greatly appreciated.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.  Online condolences available at www.lannin.ca
