Obituary of Douglas James Dowdall

DOWDALL, Douglas James “Jim” Dowdall

Passed away peacefully at the Heart Institute on Thursday, September 12th at the age of 71 years. He was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy “Dolly” Dowdall (Hodges) and his mother Nettie Dowdall and father William Cameron Dowdall. Also predeceased by brother Bill Dowdall. Survived by his loved son Tim Dowdall, Franktown. Also survived by sister Joan Nolan (Lyle), Franktown, brother Richard Dowdall, Frankville, and sister Wendy Brock (Jim), London, Ontario. Also survived by many nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces.

Visitation is at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Friday, September 20th at 10 am for an hour. Service to follow in the chapel, followed by private family inurnment. Family will receive guests at the Franktown Hall afterwards for a light luncheon.
