Chant, Arnold - passed away peacefully at the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Thursday, September 19th 2019 in his 87th year after a short battle with cancer.  Arnold Clifford Chant of Smiths Falls, loving father of Sharon Elson (Philip) and Terry Chant.  Predeceased by his daughter Kimberly Chant and his wives Audrey Chant and Jeanette Chant. Son the of late Clifford & Irene Chant. Loving brother of Donald Chant (Paula) and Gerald Chant (Carol) and predeceased by his sister Wilma Bolton.  Loving grandfather of Chad, Allan, Melissa and Sara.  Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Monday, September 23rd 2019 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.  A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, September 24th at 11:00am in the Chapel.  As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.  Online Condolences available at www.lannin.ca
