Obituary of Thelma Marjorie Bailey

BAILEY, Thelma Marjorie (nee Ketcheson) died at her home in Belleville on the 30th December 2019. Born in January 1918 in Rawdon Township, Thelma was the eldest child of the late W. Blake and Margaret (Murray) Ketcheson. She is predeceased by her husband Ross C. Bailey,and her siblings Bill (Isabel) Ketcheson of Campbellford, Vera (Gordon) Bailey of Harold, Elwood (Vi) Ketcheson of Nanaimo. and Marie (Russ) West of Stirling. Forever treasuring and remembering her are Thelma’s four children, John (Maureen) Bailey of Toronto, Jane Bailey of Belleville, Pamela (Jephthah) Bailey-Brown of Moneymore, and Lisa Bailey (late David Blair) of Perth. Next generation family who will never forget their special Nana , Brooke (Tim) Tremain, Devon ( AJ) Jewell, John Ross (Paola) Bailey, Kyle (Ann Marie) Roblin, Erica Brown, Jacob (Nicole) Brown, Erin Jane (Sean) Blair and Lindsay Blair. Great grandchildren Teagh and Carys Tremain, Trenton, Price, Jenson and Briar Jewell, Alyssa and Bailey Roblin, Kai Brown and Genevieve Brown. Remembering her fondly will be her many nieces and nephews and dear friends Isobel, Kay, Marion and Phyllis. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers who made it possible for Mom to live out her life in her own home. A service for Thelma Bailey will be held at the Eastminster United Church, Belleville, Ontario, on Saturday January 4th, 2020. The family will be at the church from 11am to noon to greet guests with service at noon. A reception will follow the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations to The Covenant House, Toronto, or your choice of charity would be appreciated.
