Our sympathies to Joan's cherished grandsons, and family during this very sad time. "Joanie" was so loved by my sister and I. Joan and Glen took us on our first boat ride through the canal locks, our first Ice Capades in the front row, and gave us endless fun in their ceramic studio. Joan treated us as her own little nieces, and spoiled our little girls with hand knit sweaters that we cherish to this day. We spent many sleepovers in their house, and loved when they let us stay in Debbie's cool bedroom with the bead doorway, when she was away. We remember the love, joy and laughs that surrounded us whenever we were with her. We will miss Joan deeply, and pray that she will be watching over us with Glen and Debbie by her side. All our love.
