I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs Henry when she volunteered at Day Hospital. She was a breathe of fresh air to all who came in contact with her--staff (experienced and novice) and patients. My condolences to her family as I am sure she has impacted your lives in many many ways. After 30 years, her calm steady way remains a quality I admire and try to emulate. Florence was our very own mother Teresa. Throughout her life she cared for the sick and lonely. To visit someone from the church in hospital meant you invariably met Florence there too. Feeding, cheering and caring. She was a beautiful example of Christ’s love. She touched countless individuals and families with her laugh, her loving kindness and her faith in her Lord.
