SOUTER. Marilyn Joan (née Bernicky) - Of Smiths Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Smiths Falls Hospital. She was 79 years of age.
Marilyn, Devoted wife of Bill. Loving daughter of the late James and Myrtle Bernicky. Devoted mother to Jim (Loretta) Souter, and the late David. Cherished grandma of Mike Souter, Holly (Tim) Rees, Shanna Souter, and David Souter. Great grandma to Adeline, Ethan, Holden, and Olive. Loving sister to George (Karen) Bernicky, and Marion (the late Glynn) Edgar. Marilyn is predeceased by her brother's Frank (Marina), and Wilbert (Beulah). Marilyn will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A private family service and interment has been held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
