Alice Germaine Purcell (Granny) passed away peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the age of 93. Cherished daughter of the late Joseph Normandin and the late Laura Monty. Predeceased by her husband John Edward Purcell. Mother of Irene Hampton, the late Richard Purcell, and the late Joan Purcell Loving granny of Marie (Andy), Katherine (Lewie), John (Kim), and Farah (Matt). Proud great grandmother of Richard (Crystal), Chantel (Jon), Kaitlyn (Tyler), Jada, Kale, Luke, Ellie and Charlotte. Great great grandmother of Blake, Autumn, Daphne, Amelia and Norah. Fondly remembered by her extended family and many good friends.
Alice enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, amateur radio, dinners with the ladies and tending to her garden. Alice was a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church of Lombardy.
Due to current Covid restrictions a graveside service and a celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Council of the Blind (Get Together with Technology) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
