Harrison, Betty Doreen Peacefully, at Rosebridge Manor on April 29, 2021, Betty Doreen Harrison (nee Jenner), in her 97th year, slipped the fetters of this mortal world and ascended to the Ocean of Light and Mercy in the ‘Abhá Kingdom, the “More Abundant Life”. Loving and devoted mother of Jack Harrison (Celine) of WestLake, Florida, Paul Harrison (Tuula) of Turku, Finland and Joan Thornley (Dave Thornley) of Smiths Falls, Ontario. Loving grandmother of Tarah (Camilo) and Scott (Nicole), Jesse (Olga) and Eric,(Maiju) Robyn, (Jim) Kristin (Alan) and Jamie (Jonny). Great-grandmother to Ursela (Tarah and Camilo Garzon), Jake (Scott and Nicole Harrison), Tristan and Eliza (Robyn and Jim Quilty) and Teddy, Cecily and Wesley (Jamie and Jonny Bilton). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Gordon. Betty was her family’s gentle and loving grandma, who encouraged, supported and loved them unconditionally. She was a very warm-hearted, gracious, and generous lady to all who knew her. Betty will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all. A very special thank you to all the staff of Rosebridge Manor. Your compassion for the care of your residents was demonstrated always with Betty. Due to COVID restrictions the Bahá’í funeral will remain private. There will be a celebration of Betty’s life at a later date.
