Edwards, Carole Elizabeth January 19, 1940 ~ November 9, 2021 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carole (nee Kerr) at home with her family on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 81 years of age. Loving mother of Teresa Edwards (Phil Turnbull); Barb (Stephen) DeLisle; Vicki (Mike) Ogilvie. She will be missed by her grandchildren Amelia (Devin) Paskimin, Jessica (Justin) Fentiman, Adam (Melanie) DeLisle, Rachel (Brandon) Barker and Ashley Ogilvie (Nic Poirier). She was the much loved Granny of Sativah, Silas, Sophie and Colt. Survived by her brother Russell (Diane) Kerr, Susan (Joe) Wynn, sisters-in-law Vivian (Bud) Lackey, Katherine (late Bun) Hover, Linda (late Wayne) Bennett, Marion (late Albert) Edwards, Clara (late James) Edwards, brothers-in-law Harold (Donna) Edwards, Jack (Dorothy) Edwards, Danny (Maureen) Edwards. Predeceased by her husband Robert Edwards, son Brian at 6 years of age, granddaughter Monica Chant, parents Morley Kerr, Lena Kerr, Stepmother Jeanine Choquette, brother John Kerr, sisters-in-law Shirley (late Woody) Drew, Edith (late Ken) Cole, brother-in-law Charlie (late Kay) Edwards and Wayne Edwards. Carole will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Carole was first and foremost a homemaker and amazing Mom, Nanny and Granny. Family was everything to her. She made everyone that came to the farm feel welcome and loved. Many young lads came and stayed until they got back on their feet. She loved movies, music, art, gardening and decorating the family home. She loved camping and swimming at Pine Lake, socializing with all the campers and performing at the talent show. She was a great joke teller and loved playing with her children and grandchildren teaching them crafts and watercolour painting. She was an active member of the ACW of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lombardy for more than 50 years. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11:00am until the time of the service in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Lombardy. Donations in memory of Carole can be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lombardy. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Messages of condolences may be left for the family at www.lannin.ca Provincial Covid-19 restrictions require the wearing of masks inside the funeral home and graveside with social distancing required by all those not from the same household. The number of attendees may be limited due to capacity restrictions.
