Rodford, Bernice - Of Smiths Falls, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 with family by her side at the Smiths Falls Hospital, at the age of 88. Bernice, loving wife of the late Gordon Hugh Rodford. Devoted mother to Brenda (Chuck Foyshay) Kilfoyle, Dale (Harry) Jackson, Dennis (Barb Scott) Rodford, Darlene (Jim) Whaley, Daniel Rodford, and David Rodford. Cherished Grandma to Cliff and Jason Kilfoyle, Chris and Josh Jackson, Nicole Whaley, and Brody and Brandon Rodford. Proud great grandma to many. Loving sister to Mabel Beauregard. Bernice will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is also predeceased by her parents Walter and Ruby Ward, granddaughter Jessica, brother Donny, and sisters Doris and Paulette.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, December 29 from 11:00am till the time of the service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Proof of double vaccination will be required to attend the visitation and funeral service. Provincial Covid-19 restrictions require the wearing of masks inside the funeral home and graveside with social distancing required by all those not from the same household. The number of attendees may be limited due to capacity restrictions during visitations, services, and burials.
