Mrs Kinch was one of those Remarkable Teachers that you couldn’t forget. She was a very soft spoken, caring teacher that even in later years remembered you fondly.
Very devoted to her faith and church. Her poems were a comfort to those who lost loved ones.
Rae will be sadly missed by all who knew her. May the family find comfort in knowing how many people cared for her. Sandra (Mercier) Goguen

We send our condolences on the passing of our treasured and most senior member.
Rachel was a woman of great faith, quiet strength, incredible tenacity and part of our founding history. It was always a pleasure to visit in her lovely country home, to be warmed by her wood stove, to share laughs and treats, and to discover our connections through present and past acquaintances. We admired her adjustment to her move and are sorry we had to miss them these past two years.
Thank you, Louise for coming to share some of our times together. May God bless and keep you and the extended family as you share memories and remember your family matriarch as you journey forward.
Sincerely,
Retired Women Teachers Ontario, Brockville Branch

To Rae's beautiful family,
The poet laureate of Newbliss has ascended to the heavenly realm. No one could express their soul deep faith in such an honest and real way as Rae could in a poem. For me, her poems described the true nature of faith and how to live it - with more than a little humour thrown in. Rae could capture the moment/event in time in her poetic expressions. I still treasure the ones that I have.
We were blessed people to have known Rachel Kinch and her poems will continue to remind us of a great lady. Rest in peace, and you have risen in glory!
Rev. Peggy Kuzmicz (Hudson)

A gem. In the 1980's we needed a new carpet for the church. Three colour choices were shown. Rae said she didn't care which one we chose because no matter the choice, being in her church was more important! I stopped the conversation at that point. Always a gentle, caring soul. "Well done thou good and faithful servant."
