Giff, Jean Agnes
Jean Agnes Giff (née Salter) passed away peacefully at the Lanark Lodge on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Robert Giff. Loving mother of the late Jill (late Jerry) Pickering, Cathie Closs, John (late Susan) Giff, Brian (Peggy) Giff, and the late Mary Jane (Curtis) Lloyd. Predeceased by her parents Delmer and Zelda Salter, and her siblings Acile (Evelyn) Salter, Merlin (Bess) Salter, Lois (Edward) Tudor, and Keith (Louise) Salter. Survived by her dear sister Mary Cass (late Ray). Lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thank you to all mom's exceptional caregivers and staff at both the Willowdale Retirement Home in Smiths Falls, and Lanark Lodge in Perth.
Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Lannin Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Bede's Anglican Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lanark Lodge Activity Fund would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
