Sargent, Ruby Ione - Of Smiths Falls, passed away peacefully at Willowdale Retirement Residence on Saturday, April 16, 2022 with family by her side, in her 86th year. Ruby, loving wife of Richard for over 68 years. Devoted mother to Garfield (the late Ellen), Roger, Rodney, Debbie, and Greg (Cindy) Sargent. Cherished grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 16. Loving sister of Robby (Murray) Griffith, Elaine (George) Worden, Vi (Jim) Thompson, and Ron (Fran) Hill. Ruby is predeceased by her parents Heman and Georgina Hill, brother Claude, and sister Mawdy. Ruby will also be lovingly remembered by her special friend Darlene Killmartin, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Ruby may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lannin.ca
