Obituary of Jacqueline Jane Bowick-Sandor

Please share a memory of Jacqueline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bowick, Jacqueline 22 May, 1965 - 19 May, 2022 Peacefully, with Bruce, her beloved husband and best friend of 33 years by her side, after a long struggle with IPF, a lung transplant, and many other chronic diseases, Jacqueline Bowick has gone home to Heaven, to be with her Heavenly Father, her parents Jack Bowick, Jean South Bowick Vandusen, Gerry Vandusen and all her many guardian angels. Jacqui will be sadly missed by her sister Darlene Rathwell (late Dan), her brother Joseph (Tammy), and their families, (with special thanks to Darla). Jacqui was the daughter-in-law of Margaret and Bela Sandor. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Tammy Yeo (Sherman), brother-in-law David (Joanne), and their families, as well as the family of sister-in-law the late Marianne McNamara. Jacqui will also be sadly missed by her father-in-law Don Pennett, step-mother-in-law Kathy, brothers-in-law Stephen (Tracey), Gerald (Joanne), and their families. Jacqui lived a full professional life as a registered nursing assistant, certified pharm tech and school secretary. She was a tireless volunteer for her church and community - the Lombardy Fair Board, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation are but a few of the organizations to which she was devoted. Jacqui loved life, and was a cherished friend to countless people and animals. She will be missed by so very many. Special thanks to Dr. Kirstin Church (Heaven-sent), nurse Sheila Miller, Rev. Christopher Ryan, Ellen Dillabough, the staff of the LIHN, Medigas, Lifelabs, Bayshore Home Healthcare and the Smiths Falls Hospital. Thanks to Dr. Matthew Binnie and the staff of the Toronto General Hospital Lung Transplant Clinic. Special thanks always to Dr. Shane Shapera, and the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Lombardy Agricultural Hall. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the L.A.W.S. or the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
