Peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on Monday, May 23, 2022, at the age of 81. Loving mother of Richard (Holly) Desjardins, Deborah Gauvreau (Paul), Grace Mitchell, and Christina Desjardins (Joe). Cherished grandmother Matthew Desjardins (Julie), Todd Baker (Samantha), Marc Desjardins (Donna), Tyler Gauvreau, Geoffrey Desjardins (Angie), Coady MacMillan, and Chris Mitchell (Victoria). Forever missed by her great grandchildren Connor, Gage, Mahayla, Morgan, Kynlee, Lexi, Trey, Dominique, and Chloe. Predeceased by her parents William Sr. and Vera Cowan, her brother Thomas Cowan and her son Thomas Desjardins. Survived by her brother William Cowan Jr.

As per Diane's wishes cremation has taken place. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
