Obituary of Margaret Ann Shier

Shier, Margaret Ann - Of Ottawa, passed away suddenly at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the age of 65. Margaret, loving daughter of the late Floyd and Eileen Shier. Dear sister of Donald Shier of Brockville, and Michael Shier of Ottawa. Margaret will also be lovingly remembered by her aunt Norma Donovan of Toledo, many cousins, extended family and friends. Margaret grew up in Prescott, Ontario and attended school there. After graduation from Carleton University, she was a Probation Officer in Fort McMurray and Edmonton in Alberta for many years. Later she returned to eastern Ontario and worked for the Salvation Army in Ottawa. Family and Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on June 24, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Toledo, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to Lannin Funeral Home.
