Miller, Phyllis Laura It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Laura Miller (nee Patterson) of Bass Lake, Lombardy, Ontario on July 28, 2022 in her 91st year. Phyllis is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 70 years, Victor Miller. Phyllis devoted her life to her husband and family and leaves behind to mourn, her children Michael (Josy), Marlene (Dave), Coreen (Phil), Louise (the late Ian). She was a loving grandmother to Sean (Deanne), Stephanie (Dave), Cathy (Joel), Scott, Rachel (Barry), Heather, Jason (Jenn), Lauren (Oliver), Caleb (Emily), Michael (Katrina), and Jennifer (Korey). She cherished her time with great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Phyllis will also be dearly missed by her sister Elaine (Curzon), brothers Archie (Linda), Carter (Sharon), brothers in law John (Lorena), Darrell (Mabel), Allison (Ellen), sisters in law Carol, Liz and Pat and daughter in law Linda. Much loved Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Beryl and Norman Patterson and parents in law Thelma and Henry Miller, sister Hilda, brother Wilson, brothers in law Merrill, Brian, Ralph, Mel and sisters in law Elva, Maxine, Sarah and Shirley. Phyllis was born in Gaspe as the eldest of six children. Together with Victor, the love of her life, she moved to Montreal in 1963 with their family of four young children. They eventually moved to Mississauga, Ottawa, Kemptville and Lombardy. Phyllis spent many years lovingly providing childcare in her home and devoted many hours to volunteer work in the Anglican Church. Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Lannin Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 03, 2022, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Smiths Falls, on Thursday, August 04, 2022, at 11:00am. A reception will take place after the funeral service at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 95, Smiths Falls. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Lung Associations or the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lombardy, would be greatly appreciated.
