Condolences from the Everett Simpson/ Essie Wood family. We were doubly related to Evelyn and visited her grandparents as kids frequently from Kingston. When she graduated it was the starched bib and cap nursing days and Evelyn was a cousin to look up to for my brother Keith and me. Our paths diverged as adults, although my mother would relay occasional updates, and I did have a brief correspondence with Evelyn a decade or more ago. A lost opportunity, not to have followed up.

Roydon, Annette, Braydon and Bryson;
Your mom (Bamma) thought the world of you all. She would proudly tell me of your latest accomplishments. She loved to talk and you were always the main subject. You should be proud of how lovingly you cared for her. She couldn’t say enough about the great care she received. I will miss her stories about “the good ol’ days”, walking home from Shane’s schoolhouse and stopping at the cheese factory for curd that they would set out for the kids. I will always remember her making fancy sandwiches with the coloured bread with her cousins, the South sisters. She had a wonderful life. I believe that life continues in another dimension with Ken, the love of her life. Sending love and light to you all.
Sincerely, Barb and Stephen DeLisle
