As a young teenager, I worked at the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS). Andre took me under his wing, teaching me about compassion and justice for animals without families. He was somewhat of a father figure to me, at a time when I really needed it. I'm reminded of a quote from "A reason, a season or a lifetime".
Andre was definitely a Reason and a Season in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. ❤️
