Obituary of Kevin Bernicky

Bernicky, Kevin Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Wednesday, January 04, 2023, at the age of 60, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Predeceased by his parents Donald and Verla Bernicky. Survived by his siblings Sharon (Roger), Roger, Ron (Linda), Patty (Mark), and Susan (Layne). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Scott, Karrie (Stephanie), Chris (Crystal), Andrew, Stuart (Melissa), Lucas (Christina), Mathew (Krista), Tyler, Jordan, and Nicholas. Fondly remembered by his Aunt Paula Clark, Aunt Joy Bernicky, Aunt Dorothy Bernicky, Aunt Margaret Sadler, Aunt Ruth Fleming, Aunt Gloria Hunter, Aunt Vivian Fleming, Aunt Dorothy Fleming, Uncle Bob Bernicky, and many cousins, extended family, and friends. A special "Thank You" to nurse Amelia and the staff at the Smiths Falls Hospital and Bayshore Home Health for their compassion and care. Diane Thompson, and Beth and Jim Hill for being with us during Kevin's final days. Sister-in-law Linda for providing us with everything we needed during our time at the hospital. Chris Moir for handcrafting Kevin's urn. A Celebration of Life in memory of Kevin and his late brother Roger Bernicky will take place on March 23, 2024 from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Perth Civitan Club, 6787 Lanark County Rd 43, Perth. As per Kevin's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lanark County Mental Health or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
