My condolences to all of his family and friends during this sad time. I would like to share a memory with you that is comical and when Dave looked back on it, he thought it was too. We were at a horse show one weekend, and Dave always like to ride our gaming horse in the in the high speed games. The horse’s name was Some Kind of Doolin’. Dooley was a comical horse, always getting himself in trouble. It was no exception just because there was a rider on his back. Dave was doing the flag race and when he reached down to pull the the flag pole out of the barrel, while turning around the barrel to race back to the other end of the arena, Dooley decided to jump sideways, taking Dave completely off guard. Of course, Dave somersaulted to the ground while Dooley run back to the to finish the course on his own. When he stopped at the other end, he turned around, looked at Dave and whinnied like he was laughing at him. Regardless of this set back, Dave ended up winning the High Point trophy for the flag race that season. He was prepared for Dooley’s antics in future competitions. It is a memory that I will always cherish along with other good memories. Again, and on behalf of my now adult children, Jennifer , Stacy , and Jason, my sincere condolences to all of you.
