March 4, 1956 - February 6, 2023 It is with profound sadness that the family of Sandy Kulp announce her sudden passing at home in Toledo on Monday, February 6, 2023 in her 67th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Dale Kulp for 44 years. Treasured mother of Ashley, Kelsey and Mackenzie Kulp, and sister to Barry Hughes of Nelson, British Columbia. Loving sister-in-law to Ruth Kulp, Donnie Kulp (Tracy), Diane Kulp and Betty Presseau. Special aunt to Lianne Kulp-Aultman (Kevin), Sarah Droeske (Jason), David, Darren (Cindy) and Candice Kulp (Rick). Honourary grandmother to Hank and Hazel. Sandy will also be missed by her great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy and father Reg Hughes, and brother-in-law Doug Kulp. Growing up on a farm in Eastons Corners, Sandy dedicated her life to taking care of others, whether through her career in nursing or at home with her husband and three daughters. She will be dearly missed by the childhood friends she held so close and by those she made within her Perth and Smiths Falls hospital community. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Lannin Funeral Home (32 Main Street, East) in Smiths Falls. A service will follow in the funeral home’s chapel at 3 p.m. Interment is to take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. Donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
