Norma Rosaline Donovan (Derrig) July 23, 1926 - March 17, 2023 Norma passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Home on Friday, March 17, 2023, in her 97th year. She was the loving wife of the late Lambert Donovan (2005). Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mary (McCarthy) Derrig, as well as her sister Mary (2003), her brother PJ (2011) and her brother DJ (in infancy). Beloved mother of Linda (Gary) Bisonette, Dan, Anne and Gerald (Keitha) Donovan, the late Cathy (Kevin) Kinch, Teresa (Raymond) Morrison. Much loved Grandmother of Tara-Lynn (James) White, Kelly-Anne (Rob) Jennings, Kerri-Lee (Joe) Huddleston, Scott (Hannah) Bisonette, Michael (Samantha) Donovan, Lindsay (Adam) Schofield, Mark (Alexandra), Ryan (Erin) Donovan, Andrea (Chris) Lalonde, Kaylea (Chris) MacDonald, Kourtney (Jordan Taylor), Ainsley (Borden Robb), Kendra (Morgan Hendershott) Kinch, and Casey and Paul (Meagan Greene) Morrison. Fondly remembered as GG by her great grandchildren, Braden and Emma White, Ava and Keegan Jennings, Vincent and Nathanael Huddleston, Blake Bisonette, Charlotte and Colton Donovan, Brooks and Sullivan Lalonde, Addison and Cameron Donovan, Tessa MacDonald, Addison and Mason Schofield, Austen and Forrest Donovan. Norma will be especially missed by her sister Dorothy Donovan, her niece Mary Donovan and her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Norma was a hardworking lady devoting much time to her role as a wonderful mother, a partner on the family farm, a secretary at St. Joseph's School in Toledo, and to her church being an active choir member and member of the Catholic Women's League for over sixty-five years. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, Toledo, on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. Philip Neri Parish Cemetery. Friends are invited to a reception immediately following the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 475, Toledo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Philip Neri Catholic Women's League, or St. Philip Neri Parish Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
