The only time I met uncle Eddie and his wife Marjie was many years ago when they visited his sister ( my mother) in the Netherlands for her birthday. I remember him as a kind and friendly person, interested in the other and with good humor. I took them to the National Park De Hoge Veluwe where the Kroller Muller museum is. He enjoyed that very much.
I can imagine how he will be missed by his family.
I hope that the memories of him may last forever and make the loss bearable.
