I only had the fortune of knowing Brenda for a few years, but in that short time I was blessed by her sharing her love of nature, wild food, dog wolfs, history of the area, and of course, her deep love for her family.
I was overwhelmed by her generosity and kindness to a new neighbor.

Im still processing the fact that your gone , you were my bestest friend since our kids were small. We shared so many amazing adventures, secrets , laughs and tons of love and respect .....we never shared harsh words to each other , never had a fight ever and no matter how much time passed we picked up where we left off .....I am so grateful that you and your beautiful daughter got to visit us 2 times in the last few months , you made that happen and those memories I will cherish forever! Sharing and caring was my Besties moto ,girl you were the shit !! Hurt someone she loved .....you better hide because my Bestie could also throw a hell of a punch ........
Her husband ,kids and grandkids were her world and she was theirs , the finality of having her here to keep us all in check has not sunk in , it comes in waves . Nova Scotia will always be your second home girlfriend and I know with certainly that we now have someone extra special watching over us until we can reunite one day in heaven . I love you so much my heart could explode and I know you loved me just as much which is why loosing you hurts so f-ing bad !!
Your family especially Seahara will always have a place in NS as long as im here !!

Brenda was my best friend in wolf advocacy and conservation, she dedicated so much time finding missing packs in the wild, poached pups. Brenda's work is all in a private group called "Wolf Queens" that we made together. Not a morning went by that we didn't chat. Always cheerful and kind. Brenda helped me emotionally going through brain cancer with my daughter.
I love this woman, you are so missed.. Because of you I'll be a better advocate because I'll do it with you in my heart. Godspeed my beautiful friend ❤️
