Wright, John "Jack" McCauley
Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Suzanne Wright. Loving father of Alexandrea (Bill), Shelley (Scott), and Dean (Kari). Cherished grandfather of Jacob, Cassidy, Joshua, Cole, Maxwell, and Brady. Survived by his sister Vellrie (late Gary), sister-in-law Ruth (late Jim), his brother-in-law Harold (late Sharon), and sister-in-law Dawn (David). Predeceased by his parents Savella and Audrey Wright, and his brother Bob. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jack was a Veteran and served in the Canadian Military for 30 years. He retired in Smiths Falls and became known for his custom cutting board designs.
As per Jack's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 12:00pm - 4:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 95, Smiths Falls. As expressions of sympathy, donations to CHEO or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
