Orr, Bessie June - Of Smiths Falls, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Perth Hospital on Monday, June 26, 2023. She was in her 91st year. Bessie, cherished wife of Ken for over 65 years. Dear daughter of the late Albert and Gertrude Van Luven. Loving mother to Jack (Vivian), Thomas (Connie), and Doug (Mary Lynn). Devoted Nana to Andrew (Katie), and Jason (Amy). Great Nana of Jacob, Ava, Colton, and Oliver. Bessie will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her son, baby Andrew.
Bessie is retired from the Smiths Falls Hospital after many years in Food Services. Special thanks to Perth Community Care, Dr. Peter Seaby, and the staff at the Perth Hospital.
A celebration of Bessie's life will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Bessie may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www,lannin.ca
