Bernicky, George Walter
Peacefully at the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Saturday, August 05, 2023, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Karen Bernicky (nee Griffin) for more than 50 years. Loving father of Amber (Jeff), and Jim. Cherished grandfather of Riley and Leah. Forever missed by his fur friends Fraser, Winston, and Chloe. Survived by his sister Marion, his best friend and brother-in-law Bill, and his sisters-in-law Marina and Buelah. Dearly missed by the entire Griffin family. Predeceased by his parents John and Myrtle Bernicky, and his siblings Frank, Wib, and Marilyn. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place in the Chapel at the Lannin Funeral Home on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery. A Celebration Of Life will take place immediately following the burial at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 95, Smiths Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations to LAWS or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
