Brown, Philip Ernest It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Brown, suddenly at home on August 14, 2023 at the age of 64. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Frances Brown (nee Beaton). Loving husband and best friend of Nancy (nee Willis). Dear father of Sarah Lisle (Phil) and Tracy Brown (Robbie). Step-father of Tammy (Johnny), Angela (Mike) and David (Katie). Proud grandfather and great-grandfather of 22 grandchildren. Phil’s grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be dearly missed, especially by his little buddy and sidekick, Myah. Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Phil was a man of many talents, interests and hobbies. Profoundly skilled at playing guitar and piano, painting, woodworking, writing novels and being the fixer of all things. His many beautiful writings and artistic creations are a beautiful legacy to his family and friends to continue to remember him by. Phil was a also a man of unwavering faith who would want his family and friends to take comfort that he has gone Home to be with the Lord. John 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at the Lannin Funeral Home (32 Main Street, East) in Smiths Falls.
