It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sydney Brent Francis "Flag" on Monday, August 28th, 2023. Brent was the beloved son of Dawn Edna Francis (née McKee) and Sydney Ralph Francis (deceased). Brother to Bonnie (Chris) and Travers (Gwen). Loved and missed by all his nieces, nephews, and other family members, as well as cherished friends he counted as family. Brent will always be remembered for his generosity, his sense of community, his love of adventure, and his incredible laugh like no other. A short graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Smiths Falls on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1:30 PM. All are welcome to join us at Brent's Celebration of Life at the Smiths Falls Legion following the interment. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Brent to Serenity Renewal for Families.
