Steele, Bradley Marvin - Of Smiths Falls, passed away at home with his family by his side, on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Brad, Cherished husband to Shirley Patricia Steele for over 50 years. Devoted father of Lizah, Nathan, David, Kathi (Claude), Wendy, Barby (Bill), and Thomas, and his children who are predeceased, Lois, and Vernon. Proud grandfather of Mark (Nicky), Melissa (DJ), Spencer (Bev), Sam, Elizabeth (Adam), Cassandra (Jamie) & Jayce, and Bradley. Loving uncle to Debbie and Wendy. Brad will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Lena and Alex Steele, sisters Winnie (Jim), and Berta (Ross), and brothers Ray (Nan), Clarence (Rita), Gordy (Mary), Clifford, Stanley, and Lionel (Jean).
In his life, Brad was a fisherman and guide, a volunteer Fireman in Atherley, Ontario, and enjoyed a career as one of Canada's highly certified top welders, as well as holding the position of foreman at Farahment. He was a wonderful dad and husband and will be cherished forever. He was the glue that held the family together.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. A service will be held in Orillia, Ontario at a later date. Donations in memory of Brad may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.lannin.ca
