Burchill (nee Cameron), Lois Jean
Passed away peacefully at the age of 89, in the Smiths Falls Hospital on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Predeceased by her husband Edison "Ted" Burchill, and her son Terry. She was the mother of Cameron (Janet) Burchill, Kevin (Anne-Marie) Burchill, and Tom (Sandy) Burchill. Loving grandmother of Jenna (Chris) Gladden, Jason Burchill, Adam Burchill, Colin Burchill, Olivia (Shawn) Pottle, Brandon (Ainsley Scott) Burchill, and Becky (Dylan Rivington) Burchill. Cherished great grandmother of Carson Gladden, Raya Gladden, Kynlee Gladden, Calvin Burchill, Camden Burchill, and Lincoln Pottle. Also fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Joan Cameron, and many nieces and nephews.
Lois worked at Pharma-Plus in Smiths Falls for years and helped run a farm in Easton Corners. She loved to play cards and go to the casino with friends. Always on the go, involved in politics and elections.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 11:00am till the time of the service in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Merrickville Union Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the Interment at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 95, Smiths Falls. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
