Preece, Gail Marie
Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Preece. Loving mother of Timothy (Norma), Deborah (late Guy), and Derek (Jennifer). Dearly missed by her grandchildren Brittany, Kristopher, Mackenzie (Brittany), Brandon (Victoria), and Alexa. Forever missed by her great-grandchildren Alivia, Elsie, Elliott, and Olivia. Survived by her siblings Wayne (Barbara), Karen (late William), her sister-in-law Ruth, and her brother-in-law Alan. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary Hughes, and her siblings Bryson, Maureen, and Kevin. Fondly remembered by her best friend Linda Spencer and her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
As per Gail's wishes cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Smiths Falls Public Library would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
