After a hard fought courageous battle with his family by his side, the Duffy family sadly announce the passing of their wonderful loving father Murray Duffy at home on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wonderful wife Hazel Duffy (nee McKenzie), who he has deeply missed for 26 years. Loving father of Lyle (Tammy) Duffy, and Lisa (Robert) LeClair. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Tara (Jose), Tiffany (Sara), Alanah (Tyler), Sarah McKenzie (Aaron), and Shayla (Allan). Lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren Evan, Brynlea, Payslea, Lincoln, Scarlett, and Aubrey. Brother of Marvin (Eunice), Nadine (Pete), and Delores (Wayne). Predeceased by his parents William and Ruby Duffy, his brother Dorland, and sisters Inez and Gloria, and also his grandchildren Billy Duffy, and Avery White. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home on Sunday, January 07, 2024 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 6:00pm - 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place in the Chapel on Monday, January 08, 2024, at 11:00am. Interment will take place immediately following the funeral service at Hillcrest Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place following the interment at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 95. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
