Shepherd, Donald Norman
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Rae Shepherd (nee Boland). Loving father of Scott (Joan Carruthers) Shepherd, and Tammy (Richard Chmiel) Shepherd. Cherished Papa of Sarah (Josh) Thompson. Proud Great Papa of Abigail and Cooper Thompson. Survived by his sister-in-law Marlene Shepherd. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Ruby Shepherd, and his siblings Edna Small, Arnold Shepherd, and John Shepherd. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
There will be a private graveside service. The family invites you to a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 95, Smiths Falls, on Sunday May 5th, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Smiths Falls Hospital (MRI Fund) would be greatly appreciated.
