Deepest sympathy to all of the Costello family with their recent loss I just learned of mr Costello's passing To Allen and Kerry I would have come to pay my respects but unfortunately I am out of town I came to know me cosetello when I came to town 25 years ago he was a true gentleman and a very caring person I enjoyed running into him and listening to his stories He provided exceptional service to the smiths falls police and the residence in the surrounding area for many years he will certainly be missed in the community . I am a better person having known him Larry and Khris Hardy and family (Retired police chief smiths falls police service )

Words can not describe how much I will miss you, Grandpa. You have always been my rock , my mentor, my person. Life really isn't fair but I guess it would be selfish of me to keep you around forever. I'll never forget Sid's face as he came around the corner of the garage in 1979 / 1980 and found Gordie and I chopping the roof off the GMC truck. He tried to dish out the tough love but had a real hard time keeping up that rough and gruff attitude, as I think he was just too damn proud that he had a kid that was so good with his hands at such a young age. He, along with Connie, raised four great kids that he was immensely proud of and I hope that each of you, Gord, Tammy, Colleen and Allen remember that for the rest of your lives. Our deepest condolences to Mr Costello's family. He was a very kind and caring man who helped me many many times with the old 20 year old Paresian I had. He was always there to give advice or tow her away. I will never forget his thoughtfulness. He certainly earned many layers of angel wings during his time on earth. He will be missed by many. May the memories you share and the ones which will be shared help ease your grief on the days and months ahead.
