It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lila after a courageous battle with cancer. She may have lost the battle but she won the war as she passed peacefully with her family by her side to heaven. Beloved wife of Charles Black, devoted mother to Deborah Matthews (David), Randall Brown (Angela) and Sandra Daye (Jamie). Adoring 'Na Na' to her grandchildren Sarah, Nathaniel, Michael Matthews (Katie), David and Tasha Daye and her great granddaughters McKayla, Maggie, Alexis and Abigail. Loving sister to Ronald James (Doris). Predeceased by her parents Irene and Howard James and brother Edward. Special aunt to her nieces and nephews. She will be missed terribly by her faithful dog Bailey, her 'Baby'. It is Lila's request to have a service in the chapel at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on June 12, 2009 at 1:30 PM.
