Peacefully at home in his sleep on July 20, 2009. Roy Phillips age 70 years. Predeceased by his Beloved wife Sandra Phillips. Much loved step-father of Jim Cunningham, Cate McMullen (Bill), Bruce Cunningham (Debbie), the late Donald Cunningham (JoAnne), and Gavin Cunningham (Debi). Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Sara, Melissa, Darcy, Nicolas, Emily, Sean, Eric, Gregg, Jannah and Meredith and great grandfather of Nathaniel and Owen. Survived by brother Don Phillips (Teresa), devoted sister Elsie Frank and brother Brian Phillips (Bev). Predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Keitha Phillips. Fondly remembered by sister in-law Donna Egan, nieces , nephews, cousins and many friends. Missed with great sadness by devoted friends Judy Mantle, Liz Hinze and John and Linda Pitura. As per Roy's wishes there will be no visitation. An interment will follow cremation on August 8, 2009 at 11 AM. at Merrickville Union Cemetery.
