Peacefully at the Broadview Nursing Centre on Saturday February 6,2010. Thelma Irene Harper, age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Ernest Giff. Loving mother of Ruth Beatty (Jim), Donald Giff (Ruby), and Douglas Giff (Cheryl) all of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by sons David Stacey Giff and Charles Ernest Giff. Also survived by daughter-in-law's Eleanor Giff and Debbie Banks. Cherished Grandmother to 10 Grandchildren and Great Grandmother to 13 Great Grandchildren. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls for visitation on Tuesday February 9, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2 PM on Wednesday February 10, 2010. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Thelma to the Alzheimer Society, or Community Access Centre would be appreciated.
