HARASIMO- Marion Grace (nee Love) Marion Grace Love, in her 89th year, while wrapped in the loving arms of her daughter at St. Joseph's hospital, Hamilton, went home to be with her lord on Saturday February 13, 2010. Born June 9th 1921 in Smiths Falls, ON. Predeceased by two husbands, Charles Anderson (1961), Andrew Harasimo (1980) and her sister Elizabeth Maud (1919). Lovingly remembered by her children Andrew (Dorothy), Diana (Roy), Olga (Rick), Joseph and Grace. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, Brent and David Harasimo, Fredrick, Steven and Robert Wood, Cpl. Christopher Miller(Lynn) , Matthew and Jacob Harasimo, Mark, Adam and Kelly Terwilligar, and Great-grandchildren, Angelique Wood, Isaiah, Hunter, and Autumn St. Pierre-Miller; Matthew, Jacob and Tyler Andrews-Miller; Marion was the daughter of Howard Love and Mabel Stewart. A veteran of WW2, she was stationed at St. Johns NB. After the war, Marion graduated from Grace Hospital nursing class of 1949. After raising her family in Lachine PQ and Winnipeg MB she returned to Smiths Falls and the Public Hospital (south unit) where she worked in linen services before retiring in 1986. Marion moved to Hamilton in June 2007 Family and friends may attend visitation at Lannin's funeral home 32 Main St.E., Smiths Falls on Friday February 19, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St. John's Evangelist Anglican Church. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to the Emergency Dept, nursing staff at St Joe's, especially Mare Diane and Donna whose compassion shown mother will always be remembered as well as Sherry Taylor, Mary Bliss-Wilson and Linda Reid, for your unwavering support and love. In lieu of flowers, donations to Scouts Canada 375 James St. S. Hamilton, ON L8P 3B9 directed to Camp Nemo Scout Reserve or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Memorial service to be held in Hamilton at St. John's Anglican Church, 320 Charlton Ave. W. on Saturday February 27th at 11:00 am.
