I would like to express my condolences. I met Woody 11 years ago, at the age of 17 when I received the services provided by the Shriners through their hospital. Woody was instramental in helping me get the help I needed and went beyond the call of duty by offering his friendship with visits to my home for severals years after my time spent at the Shriners Hospital was over. May he be a testiment to all of us of someone who put much love into his work and service to others.
To the Best-Dressed trout fisherman on the Big Rideau - thank you Woody (and Shirley) for allowing us to be a part of your lake family. It was an honor and a pleasure to share such a magical place with you. You made the trips to the cottage special, and you will always be remembered fondly. "Good night very much and Thank you!"
Words don't work for expressing all that Woody and Shirley did for the Stoudt's over the years. They made me laugh when things were tough, told me stories of Jeff when he was a little lad, and Woody taught me to cook a great lake trout...I will never look at a bandaid the same way, thanks to Woody. We will miss you. Love from Maureen and the kids.
