Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday April 3, 2010 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Bert Maitland. Loving mother of Sharon (Mike Howett), Shirley, Don (Barbara), Jim (Lauri) and the late Kevin (Barbara). Cherished grandmother of Farrah Howitt; Adam, Maria & David Kuzych; Erin, Laura, Matt, Eric, Emily, Kyle, Krissie, Jessica Maitland. Survived by her sisters Lillian Brisco (Cecil), and Gladys Giffin. Predeceased by brothers Arthur, Hubert, Ernest, and sister May Beth Hamilton. Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday April 5, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 12:30 PM. Interment Wolford Cemetery. Donations in memory of Helene to Eastons Corners United Church or The Parkinsons Society would be appreciated.
