The following poem epitomizes Lynn and the lives he changed... He is a Kinsmen By the Late Wilf. Reeves, Toronto €œHe is a Kinsmen,€ let it be A mark of true nobility; A badge that all are proud to wear, An honoured name that none would dare To taint with word or action less Than honesty and goodliness. €œHe is a Kinsmen,€ let it stand For those who love their native land; For strong Canadians free and true Who Vision mighty tasks to do To weld and build the true North zone By resident brain and strength alone €œHe is a Kinsmen,€ let it mean That he has sensed and he has seen The depths of misery and pain Around him, and his duty plain €“ He€™ll strive some health and help to bring The needy and those suffering €œHe is a Kinsmen,€ let it lend Conviction to the name of €œfriend€ Let heart reach out to heart to find That mind has linked itself with mind; Let comradeship so weld the tie That Kinsmanship will never die.

Margot and Family, Lynn has been active in Kin at all levels of the Kin Canada Association. We remember Lynn's passion for Kin and CF and his encouraging, supportive and positive attitude that he shared with everyone. He will be missed and his memory will endure. My fondest memories of Lynn come from serving with him as his district secretary and the almost month long voyage with him and a few other Kin as we drove out to the National Convention in Richmond B.C. in 2007. He embodied what it means to be Kin. I will miss him. On Behalf of myself and all the members of District 6, whom have known Lynn so well and affectionately, I pass along our deepest sympathies. Neil Benjamin Governor District 6

Dear Margot and family Lynn was someone who I have known for so much of my years in Kin. I started to get to know him best when I was running for National Vice President years ago and he and Art were quite the team in making us work for their votes but using their true passion for Kin and for CF as the venue for discussion. Over the years, I looked forward to connecting with Lynn at so many different events. He was kind, a gentleman with a wonderful laugh and sense of humour. But more than anything, he was a man of character and caring. He gave from his heart to those who needed someone to stand for and with them, to advocate for their needs and to work to make miracles happen. He did this for CF but also so many other wonderful causes and projects. I am proud to have known Lynn and my life, along with that of so many others, has been graced by having had the chance to work with someone who epitomized the true concept of being Kin. Sending you prayers and hugs, May you all find comfort and healing in the months ahead and know that others share your sense of loss with you. You are not alone. Blessings...

Margot, Scott and Jodie; Words will never express how truly sorry we are for your loss. Lynn was an exceptional man. Reflecting on some of the times we have spent together opens a flood of laughter and tears. From the miles travelled together during our campaign for Vice Governor in District 6, to witnessing and sharing his passion for CCFF- Lynn taught us so many lessons. His big laugh was matched only with his big heart. We will both miss yet cherish the bond of friendship that we shared with Lynn. Margot, Scott and Jodie and we are certain that your special memories of the loving caring husband and proud father that Lynn was will bring you much peace in the hours, days and months ahead. God bless.

Dear Margot I am sorry to hear that you lost Lynn. Being a Life Member of Kin, he was one who would go the extra kilometer to care for others. Our country is much better off because of people like Lynn. I don't know how many years you two were married, but just think of that number of years times 365 days of time together and maybe that helps you overcome your feelings of loss right now. All the best to you. Bruce Glass National President of Kin 1981-82

I actually just shared that story with friends. I always enjoyed seeing you guys when you came to Aunt Sue and Uncle Jack's. May the memories of Lynn bring a smile across your lips. Lynn was one of the first people I met when I became part of Kin through the Trenton Club in D6 many years ago. I will always remember his passion for CCFF and devotion to KIN not only as an organization, but to the individuals especially that comprised this great group of people. I'll also always remember his great big smile and funny horned hat at Conventions. His passing is such a great loss for all who knew him. He will be very much missed. Margot, Jodi, Scott and family: All of Kin National Headquarters was in a state of shock for most of Monday in hearing that we had lost Lynn. Among our thousands of members, there are those few who truly stand out as exceptional people who consistently put others ahead of themselves. They typify why this Association exists and make us proud of what Kin stands for. They make us aspire to be something better. Lynn was one of those few. He and I shared many conversations and stories during his time on our national board and since; but my favourite memory was talking to him at Kin National Convention 2008 in Lethbridge. With his health on a upswing, I had never seen him so happy and full of energy. Knowing the challenges he€™d been through, it was my personal highlight of the convention. That€™s how I will remember him. Kin and the CF community have lost a great one. Our prayer is that you find some comfort in knowing how many loved him and miss him, and how many more will continue to benefit from the work he did. God bless. Dear Margot & Family; I was shocked and saddened to hear of Lynn's passing. As we individually mourn his passing we will reflect on the wonderful man we new and his special traits. As we share our grief we will learn even more of his life as a cherished Husband, Father, Sibbling, Kinsman, and Friend. We will each fondly remember the first and last time we spoke with Lynn and cherish the shared moments in between. While I had heard Lynn's name many times in Kin circles, I only got to know him through the Kin Canada Foundation in recent years. His dedication to Family, Kin, and friends was obvious from our first meeting. I am priveleged to have known him, albeit for a short time. Please find comfort in knowing that the good Lord calls only the very best to his side. Lynn is now among those very best. With heartfelt sympathy, Bob Holmes Past Gov. Dist. 8 1975-76

Dear Margo, The words spoken at Lynn's funeral brought back so many wonderful memories. When I worked with Lynn he always took the clients who got the least attention and devoted his attention to them. Words can never express the depth of his compassion for his family and friends. Remember the time we put the mural of a fish aquarium on your garage door when you were coming home from holidays? Margo you and Lynn have been important to me.
