Son of the late George and Gladys (Forde) Bernicky. Son in law of the late Robert and Gladys Rodford (Nicholson). George passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 8, 2010 with his wife Joy, of 57 years, and his children by his side. He will be greatly missed by his sons Allen (Colleen), Richard (Carol), Barry (Kathy), Danny (Sandra), Len (Janet) and Paul (Angie). He was a wonderful and loving grandpa to 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He leaves behind to mourn his siblings, brother Bob (Orla), sisters Gloria (Chuck) Hunter, Paula (George) Clark. Predeceased by Rita McWilliams (Fred), Freda Gilligan (Bill), Harry, Don, and in infancy, Helen, Lauretta, Samuel. He will be missed by his inlaws, Verla (Don) Bernicky and Marion (Harry) Bernicky, Lois Gunn (Bert), Gary Rodford (Ruth), Carole Parish (Jim). He will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will take place at St. Johns Evangelist Anglican Church, Smiths Falls on Friday June 11, 2010 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
