Kelvin (Bud) Carmichael (1924-2010) went home to be with his Lord and saviour on Friday, August 20th. His desire for his final journey was to be with his family at home, which was made possible by loving support of his wife, friends and church members. Loving husband of Helen Martin and predeceased by his first wife Mabel McLellan. Cherished father of Roderick (Susan), Ronald (Lee Ann) and Karen (Mark) as well as Ruth, Lawrence and the late Pamela Martin (Joynt). Beloved grandfather to Roderick, Stephen, Sarah, Valerie, Aaron, Sandra, Timothy, Rachel, David, Derek, Tara and Todd and loved great grandfather to many. He will be remembered by his brother Irvin the late Oliver, sisters Jean, Dorothy, Mary and Lois along with many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls Wednesday August 25, 2010 from 12:00 noon till 1:00pm a memorial service in memory of Kelvin will take place in the Chapel at 1p.m. Donations in memory of Kelvin to the Rideau Christian Fellowship Building Fund, Gideons International Fellowship and Dignity House of Perth Hospice would be appreciated. Interment will take place at a later date in Escuminac, Quebec.
