Passed away Peacefully at Hilltop Manor, Merrickville on Sunday October 17, 2010. Alice Jessie Walsh, age 98 years. Daughter of the late Norman and Jenny Walsh (Hodge). Beloved wife of the late Leonard Hassall. Loving mother of Robert Hassall (Margaret Bates) of Merrickville, Norman Hassall of Smiths falls and Lendra Condie (Gordon Condie) of Thunder Bay. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear Sister-in-law of Evelyn Walsh. Predeceased by her brother Lance Walsh and baby sister Winona. Resting at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, friends may call for visitation on Tuesday October 19, 2010 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Merrickville on Wednesday October 20th, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Interment Union Cemetery. Donations in memory of Alice to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hilltop Nursing Home would be appreciated.
