Peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband & best friend of Helen (nee Hibbard). Predeceased by his first wife Deanie (nee Dorcas). Loving father of Brenda (Keith Moodie), Lee (Gloria) and stepson David Simms (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Kelly (Chris Gillis), Chris, Glen Moodie (Angela), Brad Moodie, John Simms, Erika Simms and Deirdre Simms. Great-grandfather to 8 grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother George and sisters Amy, Mabel and Gladys. Friends may call at Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday October 25, 2010 from 10 am until service time in the chapel at 11 AM. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
